Our shopping trips are so much more fun thanks to the many cars and trucks and trains etc dotted around the mall. So far, Master B. has no idea that they were designed to play music, bob up and down and move about when money is inserted, and he needn’t know. (Wooohooo! … let’s see how long I can keep this a mystery. There is no way I’m paying for rides every time we pass one of these!) In the meantime, they are great for imaginary play and practising words/sounds. The steering wheels and buttons are fun to press even when no money is handed over. They are also opportunities to practise sharing and interacting politely with other kids.
