About Casula Parklands

Casula Parklands underwent a jaw-dropping $4 million upgrade that transformed it into one of Sydney's most exciting playgrounds. The ninja warrior-style obstacle course is the headline act — modelled on the TV show, it features monkey bars, warped walls, balance beams, and rope obstacles that older kids and teenagers absolutely love. There's nothing else like it in a public playground in Sydney.

The 8-metre Sky Walk is the other standout — an elevated walkway with rope sides that gives kids a genuine thrill of height without real danger. Combined with climbing towers, slides, a flying fox, and extensive swing sets, this is a playground that caters to kids who crave physical challenge. The equipment quality is top-notch and everything feels solid and well-engineered.

For younger kids, there's a separate toddler play zone with age-appropriate equipment, and a sand play area. The ninja course is designed for roughly 8+ age group, so there's a natural separation between the adrenaline seekers and the littlies.

The park itself is lovely, set along the Georges River with walking paths and lots of open space. BBQ shelters are scattered throughout, and the facilities are kept in good condition by Liverpool Council. Toilets are clean and include baby change. There's a large free car park. The Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is next door, which makes for an interesting combined visit — they often have free exhibitions and kids' programs.

Public transport access is reasonable with Casula station on the T2 line about a 15-minute walk. Bring your own food — there's no cafe nearby.
